About Me
Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist California License (AMFT) #145995 Supervised by David Powers, CA LMFT 110906, LPCC 7434
I started my mental health training over ten years ago, working with foster teens in Santa Clara County. This experience sparked my passion for helping parents through teaching parenting classes in a reunification program. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a recruiter in the tech industry, giving me insight into the pressures of balancing work, self-care, and family life.
In my therapy practice, I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and somatic techniques, all informed by neuroscience. These approaches help clients reframe negative thought patterns, embrace their emotions, and take action in alignment with their core values. I also incorporate solution-focused strategies to help clients set goals and work toward lasting change.
By combining evidence-based therapies with mind-body practices, I help clients build emotional resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and work toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
